Installation of "No Smoking and Vaping" Signs at Rajamangala National Stadium and SEA Games Venues
Today, the Action on Smoking and Health Foundation, in collaboration with the Tobacco Product Control Committee Office, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health—led by Mr. Jirawat Yoosabai, Deputy Director of the Tobacco Product Control Committee Office, and Ms. Wanlapa Kaewsri, Program Executive of the Action on Smoking and Health Foundation—inspected the sites and installed "No Smoking and E-Cigarette" signs. This declares Rajamangala National Stadium and all SEA Games competition areas as 100% smoke-free zones.
Mr. Surasak Kerdsanit, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) for Sports Promotion, and Mr. Wuttichai Chaijit, Director of the SAT Sports Business Department, received the signs and jointly surveyed the installation points.
Together, We Create a New Standard:
- For the better health of all athletes and spectators.
- To elevate Thailand's image as a health-friendly host country.
Reminder!
Smoking and Vaping in smoke-free areas are subject to legal penalties under the Tobacco Product Control Act B.E. 2560 (2017).
We ask for everyone's strict cooperation in following the rules to ensure a "Smoke and Vaping Free SEA Games."
