World Conference on Tobacco Control 2025

 

 

The Action on Smoking and Health Foundation (ASH Foundation) participated in and presented its work at the 2025 World Conference on Tobacco Control. The conference was organized by The Union with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies.

The event's purpose is to share and exchange knowledge and best practices for tobacco control, a complex, multi-disciplinary challenge that involves various topics such as taxation, law enforcement, environmental conservation, gender, and social equality.

Held from June 23-25, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland, the 2025 conference invited partners worldwide to "Shape the Future of Tobacco Control." The event hosted approximately 1,300 participants from over 100 countries.

The following works were selected for presentation at the conference:

  1. Power of networks drives the prevention of youth smoking and vaping
  2. Gen Z Gen Strong against vaping campaign
  3. Tobacco use monitoring application: An innovation for systematic data collection by smoke-free Local administration organizations and community personnel
  4. effectiveness of Smoke-Free Local administration organizations implementing comprehensive tobacco control intervention based on the Ottawa Charter, 2021 and 2022
