Did you know that initially it was believed that smoking could cleanse the lungs, since smoking cuased coughing and bringing up phlegm?  The indigenous nations of the Americans were the first people to smoke tobacco and the habit was introduced to Spain where it became widespread.

During Thailand’s National Youth Day 2011, an event called “We are not victims of Tobacco and Alcohol” was organized by ASH Thailand.  The event was well received by all including academia, medias, and youth.

Prof. Prakit Vathesatogkit has today revealed a study which show that each year approximately 907 Thai citizen will die as a result of the increase in CSR programs funded by tobacco industry.

Smoking Inside Your Car

Prof. Prakit Vathesatogkit reveals today that it is perfectly legal to smoke inside your own car.  However, country such as Australia has already ban anyone to smoke inside their car in the case that there is a person under the age of 18 travelling along.
